Mission Statement

International Metal Hose manufactures and markets flexible conduit, tubing, and hose. Since our founding in 1956, we have expanded our product offering from flexible metal hose for exhaust applications to products for electrical, fluid-handling, electronic and telecommunications applications.

We manufacture a wide variety of flexible electrical conduit products, which comply with U.L. and C.S.A standards. Our electrical products are used in construction, industrial facilities, wire harnesses, machine tools, instrumentation and telecom equipment. We manufacture the complete range of trade sizes from 5/16” to 4” and maintain warehouse stocks of all sizes in our factory and several field warehouses throughout the U.S. We also provide unique, value-added versions of these products to improve our customers’ production processes and reduce their costs.

We continue to manufacture flexible metal tubing and hose for exhausts, material handling, and other low-voltage or nonelectrical purposes. These products range in size from 3/16” to 12” in diameter and are made from coated steels, stainless steel, brass and bronze.

We market our standard electrical conduit through manufacturers’ sales reps to wholesale distributors, who sell to a variety of contractors, manufacturers, and value-added resellers. We sell our unique products to manufacturers of wire harnesses, wire assemblies, and producer goods. We also export our standard products, as well as some we have developed for foreign markets.

While we are not a large company, we are financially secure and are able to offer special arrangements for our “just-in-time” customers to ensure a steady flow of product at guaranteed pricing. We also maintain the flexibility to adapt to new product requirements and quality standards.
